Vice Rector for Academic Affairs

                                                                                                           Duties of the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs:

–  Laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, resolutions of the chambers of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, decrees, resolutions and orders of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers in the field of education and training, implementation of normative legal acts, as well as instructions of the Ministry of Education;

– The organization of the educational process on the basis of state educational standards and training of qualified personnel, a set of requirements for the content of knowledge and the level of training in accordance with state educational standards by all deans, heads of departments and teachers organization of reconciliation;

– to organize the implementation of the decisions of the University Council and the orders of the employer on issues related to the educational process;

– To study the development trends of the education system of advanced countries, to implement the tasks set out in the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Education”, the National Training Program and other normative legal acts on education to organize the development of methods and tools and ensure their implementation;

– organization of advanced forms of teaching, effective use of new pedagogical and information and communication technologies in the educational process;

– organization of publishing, creation and translation of textbooks and teaching aids in accordance with the requirements of the concept of creating a new generation of textbooks for continuing education, the provision of textbooks, teaching aids;

– organization of training, retraining and advanced training of teachers and specialists, development and implementation of plans for professional development of teachers;

– providing curricula and programs in all areas of education;

to lead the methodical council, to coordinate, organize and control the work of the departments, deans, which provide the educational process;

– Approval of the work plans of the educational and methodical department, faculties and departments and their implementation, management of interfaculty general education departments;

– organization of training and internships for students;

– Improving the quality of training, the responsibility of teachers for the content of individual work plans, as well as monitoring and ensuring their implementation;

– preparation of proposals for improving curricula;

– organization of educational and methodical conferences, supervising the work of the council of the methodical commission of the university, generalization of advanced methodological experience;

– In cooperation with the Vice-Rector for Research, targeted preparation of students for national and international competitions, analysis of the results of the Olympiad, organization and management of continuous preparation of students for state scholarships;

– Implementation of modern rating systems for assessing student knowledge, the organization of objective assessment of student knowledge;

– expulsion of students who are not able to master the subjects, reinstatement of expelled students, transfer of students from one course to another;

– Scheduling, approval and monitoring of training, analysis of the workload and annual reports of the departments and the development of proposals for improving the educational process;

– Organization of the introduction of modern methods and tools for independent learning of students;

development of proposals for the staff of professors and teaching assistants, the organization of staffing of departments, divisions, the organization of targeted training of promising young people for the positions of head of the department and dean of the faculty;

– organization of competitive recruitment of teachers for vacant positions, preparation of proposals for the recruitment of senior researchers and independent researchers and masters;

– development of proposals on the effective use of classrooms; – organization of admission to the first year, consideration of proposals of deans on expulsion of students, academic leave;

– Organization of quality training on issues related to the educational process in a timely manner on the basis of the plan of the University Council;

– organization of student internships and integration of educational work with production enterprises;

– Ensuring the submission of educational and methodological reports to the rector in the prescribed form;

– Control over the activities of departments for the effective and quality organization of the educational process;

– to take measures against teachers who violate labor and educational discipline and to prepare proposals on termination of their contracts;

– Carrying out annual reports of departments and faculties, analysis and conclusions, evaluation of teaching methods of teachers in modern methods;

– Carrying out regular educational cooperation with higher education institutions, ensuring the active participation of professors and teachers in conferences, seminars;

– Regular internal certification of the university in the prescribed manner, preparation for external certification and active participation in its conduct;

– In accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated January 12, 1999 No 12 “On measures to strengthen executive discipline” on executive discipline, labor and training discipline, labor protection, safety and industrial sanitation strict observance of the rules, the Charter of the university, these Rules, the decisions of the Council, the orders of the employer and the goals and objectives set by the regulations of the education system, as well as its official duties.
