The Faculty of “Digital economy” began its activity in 1963 with the admission of students in the specialty “Organization of automated processing of economic information”. In 1968 with the opening of the specialty “Economic Cybernetics”, the Faculty “Economic Cybernetics” was established.
Specialists in such areas as “Informatics and information technologies (by industry)”, “Professional education (by industry)”, “Professional education (economy)” are prepared in the faculty at the bachelor’s stage.
The faculty also prepares highly qualified specialists in the following specialties: “Information systems and technologies in economics”, “Econometrics”, Theory and methodology of professional education”.
The staff of the faculty has sufficient scientific potential for the preparing of highly qualified specialist, in particular at the moment 69 teachers work at the faculty. 35 of them have scientific degrees of doctor and candidates of science.
