On May 27 this year, the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Republican Council of Higher Education and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, the Council of Rectors of Russia and the Moscow State University named after M.V Lomonosov held an “Interregional online conference of rectors of leading higher education institutions of Uzbekistan and Russia”.
The conference was attended by the heads of the higher education system of the two countries, as well as the rectors of more than 120 prestigious higher education institutions of Uzbekistan and Russia. Adviser to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdujabbor ABDUVAKHITOV, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Behzod MUSAEV, Head of the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir CHERNOV, Minister of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan Inomjon MAJIDOV, Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Valery FALKOV addressed the conference. Chairman of the Council of Higher Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Rector of the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers prof. O. UMURZAKOV and the Chairman of the Council of Rectors of Russia, Rector of the Moscow State University named after M.V Lomonosov V.SADOVNICHIY addressed the plenary session.
Due to the growing trade, economic, political and cultural ties between the two countries, special attention is paid to the field of higher education at the level of leaders of the two countries, new promising areas are being explored in this regard. In particular, at the invitation of President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, more than 114 bilateral agreements were signed at the first Uzbek-Russian educational forum held in October 2018 during the official visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to Uzbekistan. As a result of the expanded cooperation in recent years, more than 3,500 students are studying on the basis of joint programs with the participation of 34 higher education institutions of Uzbekistan and 48 higher education institutions of Russia.
More than 400,000 Uzbek youth study at Russian universities, undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate courses, and more than 300 professors and teachers undergo scientific internships.The number of branches of leading Russian higher education institutions opened in Uzbekistan has reached 10, the number and scale of joint research projects has grown significantly.
This conference will serve as an important stage in the preparations for the second Uzbek-Russian educational forum, which is included in the program of the Summit of Presidents of Uzbekistan and Russia, scheduled for 2020 in Moscow. The event discussed the preliminary results and prospects for the implementation of bilateral agreements in higher education and science. During the conference, the ministries and departments of Uzbekistan and Russia visited the Tashkent branch of the Russian State Pedagogical University named after A.I.Gertsen, the branch of the Russian National Research Medical University named after N.I.Pirogov, the Center for Primary Engineering Training of St. Petersburg Mining University and St. Petersburg. Branch of St. Petersburg State University, the Initiatives to establish a Russian-Uzbek scientific and technological training center of the Moscow State Technological University named after Stankin in cooperation with the Tashkent State Technical University, Samarkand State University, Navoi State Mining Institute and Bukhara Institute of Engineering and Technology were also put forward.
Within the framework of the conference, the rectors of higher educational institutions of Russia and Uzbekistan exchanged views on topical issues of cooperation.
At the end of the conference, a number of agreements were signed between the two countries aimed at further expanding and increasing the effectiveness of cooperation in the field of science, and determined the perspective issues within the area of relationship.
Action-oriented programs, worked out in accordance with the Action Strategy on five priority areas of development of Uzbekistan in 2017-2021 that are aimed at ensuring further improvement of the quality of life of people. The implementation of these programs will be effective, especially with proper use of the marketing system, which forms the fundamental basis of the economy.
In modern conditions of innovation and digital economy, there are big changes observed. Experts state that enterprises need to reconsider their views on the goals and methods of marketing in a “new economy”. Yesterday’s successful marketing strategies are losing their actuality.
Constant changes in the market environment are not a threat to the marketing, but its life. This, in turn, requires the effective use of modern marketing concepts in increasing the competitiveness of national goods.
In order to develop proposals and recommendations for studying and solving existing problems in this area, the Department of Marketing of Tashkent State University of Economics organized the Republican scientific-practical conference on the theme: “Using modern marketing concepts in increasing the competitiveness of national goods.”
In this conference there will discussed issues of improving the competitiveness of domestic goods, the use of innovative marketing strategies to saturate the domestic and foreign markets with consumer goods, conducting marketing research in organizing small industrial zones, improving the use of modern marketing concepts in the production of export-oriented finished products based on the marketing system.
The basis that served for the scientific conference were decrees, resolutions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, orders of the Cabinet of Ministers Republic of Uzbekistan and other current regulatory documents.
Scientific guidance, purpose and objectives of the conference.
The scientific guidance of the conference is – to study of the problems of using modern marketing concepts in increasing the competitiveness of national goods. The purpose of the conference is to exchange views, to develop scientific and practical proposals and recommendations on priority areas on improving and enhancing the effectiveness of marketing activities for market research, entering foreign markets, establishing international relations and manufacturing export-oriented products in this process based on a targeting marketing system.
Questions to be discussed:
– theoretical, methodological and practical issues of using modern marketing concepts;
– ways of use of marketing research in increasing the competitiveness of national products;
– development of marketing strategies in increasing the competitiveness of national goods.

Expected Results Of The Conference. Expected scientific and practical results of the conference – the development scientifically grounded proposals and recommendations on theoretical, methodological and practical issues of using modern marketing concepts, ways of using marketing research in improving the competitiveness of national goods, developing marketing strategies to improve the competitiveness of domestic goods, developing innovative marketing strategies to improve competitiveness goods in the domestic and foreign markets.
Expected social results of the conference. Developed scientific proposals and practical recommendations on the use of modern marketing concepts in increasing the competitiveness of national goods will served as a basis for further development of potential of domestic manufacturing enterprises and service enterprises, development of full-fledged competitive environment in enterprises, to more fully satisfy the demand of the population of the republic on consumer goods and services and for the increasing of their well-being.
The chair of “Finance and taxes” organized a scientific-practical seminar organized by Uzagrosugurta with the innovative and corporate cooperation.
In order to further develop the cooperation between the universities and manufacturers, the TSIU “Finance and taxes” department organized a scientific-practical conference entitled “The role of insurance activity in the development of the financial system of Uzbekistan” within the framework of innovation -relational cooperation with JSC “Uzagrosugurta” a seminar was organized.
The opening speech of the seminar was opened by Vice-Rector for Research, Sherzod Mustafakulov.
The seminar was attended by Saidmonmon Mansurov, Chief Manager of Strategic Development, Marketing and Quality Management of JSC “Uzagrosugurta”, “Uzagrosugurta”, “Uzagrosugurta” Management of Territorial and Agency Networks manager, ifn Abdurashid Vakhabov, Ph.D., Associate Professor of “Finance and Taxes”, “Perspectives of Agricultural Insurance Development in Uzbekistan”, Ph.D. Hayrulla Kurbanov “Actual problems of financial system in modern conditions”, doctoral candidate of TSI Khurshid Ergashev with the report “Life insurance network and opportunities in Uzbekistan”.
At the end of each lecture, the seminar participants addressed their questions and received answers. The workshop was interesting and controversial.

The most important event in the field of marketing and advertising in Uzbekistan is the week of marketing and advertising ADWEEK. This week was organized for the first time in 2016 and became an important event for specialists interested in marketing and advertising. This week covers competitions, fairs and conferences concerning marketing and advertising. ADWEEK is a professional communication, modern marketing and exhibition of successes in advertising technologies and the exchange of knowledge and practical experience.
As you know, from February 26 to March 2, 2018 in Tashkent, the Week of Marketing and Advertising was announced. This week covers several major events, one of them is a large-scale Innovation Fair together with the contest “Innovative ideas, technologies and projects” and masterclasses will be held on February 27 at the Tashkent State Economic University jointly with the National Marketing Center. The contest “Innovative ideas, technologies and projects”, dedicated to the “Year of support of active entrepreneurship, innovative ideas and technologies” and “Strategy of actions for the five priority development directions of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2017-2021” was organized for the first time in Tashkent State Economic University jointly with the National Marketing Center within the framework of the Week of Marketing and Advertising ADWEEK. The competition is organized under the auspices of the Union of Youth of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Innovation Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the State Committee for Assistance to Privatized Enterprises and the Development of Competition of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The presentation requires the presence of necessary slides, such as the theme of an innovative project, the surname, name and patronymic of the student author of the project, the purpose of the project, the significance, the project’s potential for today, the analogue in foreign countries and the domestic economy and the different aspects, the implementation mechanism, its efficiency, productivity and effectiveness, accurate calculations, final conclusions. From students participating in the competition for techniques and technology requires the presentation of techniques and technology in the subject form.
To assess the developments of students participating in the contest in three nominations: “The Best Innovative Business Ideas and Projects”, “The Best Innovative ICT and Development” and “The Best Innovative Techniques and Technologies”, an expert group of professors-teachers and practitioners in the context of directions were created in the presentation of the project. Experts from the three groups evaluate the developments presented in three nominations and determine the winners, and the winners will be awarded with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd degree diplomas and memorable gifts.

In conclusion, it should be noted that people’s need for technology is rapidly increasing. It is required to keep pace with the times in order not to lag behind science and innovations in the context of globalization of the economy. And for this, the improvement of the mechanism for discovering talented and creative young students and the all-round support, using the weight of internal potential play an important role.
Taking into account the above, we can say that the exhibition devoted to the “Innovative idea, technologies and projects”, organized in TSEU, serves as a source of new ideas, original solutions and a communication area for participants of all universities in their innovative business ideas, projects and developments and their effectiveness.
At the Tashkent State Economic University a roundtable titled “Youth policy, education and science” was held within the framework of the Second Youth Forum of Uzbekistan. Representatives of the All-Russian Public Association “Russian Youth Union”, representatives of the federal service of science and education of the Russian Federation, members of the Moscow Regional Council of Young Scientists, professors of the Kuzbass State Technical University, Youth Policy of Moscow Technological University representatives of international relations department, professors and teachers of TDIU, gifted students, researchers and media representatives.
The event will focus on studying the experiences of the two countries on the prospects of effective youth policy between Uzbekistan and Russia, as well as innovative innovations of Uzbek and Russian young scientists in science, education and technology, models and ideas, and further develop scientific cooperation in this area.
